Latin name: Peony Callies Memory (ITOH )

Intersectional (Itoh) peony with large, semi-double blooms (about 15-20 cm) that open in a soft apricot-blush cream and mature to luminous creamy yellow. Distinct maroon-red flares at the centre and subtle picotee edging add a vivid, painterly contrast.

Sturdy, upright stems (around 70-90 cm) hold the flowers reliably without staking. Expect mid-late flowering in late May to June, with a gentle sweet fragrance and good suitability for cutting.
